My male mallard duck has been fine with our small flock of 5 chickens and our one female mallard duck for about 2 years, but recently he has been being aggressive with our chickens. We seperated the run with a gate, but one chicken managed to get over, and when we went out to feed the birds, her butt was swollen and red and bloody and she was covered in blood. For now we locked the chickens in the coop and kept the ducks in the run (one male mallard duck and one female mallard duck) i dont know what to do and i need help… are there any antibiotics that i can give the injured chicken??

are you sure the duck even mated with the chicken? i doubt a duck's gentials could do that much damage... maybe the ducks pecked at her, but even then ducks dont that sharp beaks, so it's not like they could tear up the area. Also, I used to have ducks along with chickens as well; the ducks were somewhat aggresive as well, pecking at the chickens if they strayed too close, so I dont think that your situation is abnormal. Anyway, is there any other way that she might've gotten hurt??

to help her, get some antibiotics(not sure what kind, but they'll help to heal her) and definitlely give her electrolyte water. Seperate her from other birds so they don't peck at her underside- they'll get curious and peck, and it might even open up their cannibalistic side!!
