HELP my silkie rooster has a huge lump on his back

hello everyone,
I have a year old beautiful silkie rooster.
for the past week we notice a huse lump on
his back not on his spine but close to his tail feathers.
it is about the size of a golf ball. it feels as if it is filled with fluid
we tried to use a small syringe to see if puss would come out but nothing
we could draw a small about of blood from it but the size did not decrease.
it doesnt seem to bother him the lump seems to make his tail feathers crooked.
any ideas on what it is and any fixes for my lil rocky?

I would closely monitor his behaviour and appetite. If it doesn't bother him, I would see whether the size increases or decreases over time.

BTW, be very careful when you try to draw on a 'cyst' (?) like this. Make sure the needle is super sterile or you risk infecting it....
