A friend just lent me an incubator, but she only knows about chickens. This incubator has temp. control and humidity contol. It also has the turning done atomaticly. She told me temp. should be 100 and humidity should be between 70 and 80. I don't think that's right, is it?? I have four call duck eggs to do and i don't want to put them in till i know the facts. Also is the temp and humidity the same till they hatch and how long do duck eggs take to hatch? I will try to be patiant, the temp is at 100 and humidity is 70, but i'm waiting for someone to help me. Is there anything else i need to know? I just want healthy babies!

The temp should be 99.5F and the humidity between 45% and 55 % for the first 17 days, and bumped up to 65% or more. good luck!

Thanks for your help. I'm stillreal nervous. It's hard to have someones life in your hans and it could all be because of temp and humidity. Cross my fingers and everything else. How would i get the humidity down? It's been pluged in for three hours and it's at 99 temp, but humidity is at 64, how do i lower it?
