Help! Need to keep my Chicken Run auto door closed.

I’m out of town and somehow my chickens are escaping. I want my husband to keep the door closed while they are all inside. I’ve tried searching but I just don’t know how to keep it closed and not open automatically at sunrise like usual.
Can anyone help?

Unplug it?
I have no idea, but best to put the type of door you have here for folks to help that have that model.
Or look up the manufacturers website for a manual?

Not sure what type you have but I have Run Chicken and you could just take out the batteries to keep it closed.

Their app has extra programming features - for opening, there's 3 options: Light Sensor, Timer, and Do Not Open. I'd imagine the last one locks it out, but I've never used that feature before so don't know for sure. Otherwise, take out the batteries or maybe even just put dark tape over the sensor
