Hello
It is day 13 (candled today so DH would be around to take pictures) so I could check the broody wasn’t wasting her time on dud eggs. They are mixed bantam eggs from shipped from eBay. I think one is a definite no as it is lighter and I think there is a blood ring? Another seems to have a saddled air cell? Apologies for the poor pictures (it is the brightest torch we had with some tape to reduce the size and we needed the phone for the photos 😂). The tape has created a dark v in some pictures.
I candled pointed side down with the torch at both ends. Sorry for the photos not being good (I think the torchlight isn’t strong enough). Even if the photos are too bad for you to help I’m glad we did it and moved Shirley as there was some 💩 on the edge of the nest so we cleaned that up before it got on the eggs 👍

Any help or advice would be fantastic this is our first hatch (but not Shirley’s) she had been a broody before she came to us.

Thank you. The second was where I thought I saw a blood ring so that makes me feel better.

The seller had Cochin, Sablepoot, Polish, Dutch Bantams and Frizzles so who knows what May hatch. I am worried none will after all the fort and dedication Shirley has put in. She is doing so well.
