HELP....new hatcher

So we have a hen on an egg....we are at day 23.....we candled early and it had all the signs of a chick but still no chick....at what point do I let it go.....she has been on it consistanly....we do have cooler temps here......any advise? And can you do something to "help" the process along or to check the egg?

If a broody is doing it, don't give up early, depending on how consistent she has been in sitting, that chick could be fairly late put of the egg. I would give her a few more days.

it still might hatch i was the same when i hatch for the first time
if one does hatch wait untill she take them out
