Help! New to chickens and one looks like it might have a disease

Well, I gave pickles a bath following some directions given to me. She seemed fine and fell asleep. After further investigation, I was told by a local breeder that she might just be molting. She seems to have almost no feathers covering her back and under her wings. I blow dried her before I put them out back to free range and do whatever they want. Her and her buff Orpington friend Sunny are now in the garden in their favorite spot under the tomato plant and under the lemon balm.

At this point I'd just watch her to see how she acts. Chicks that age scratch their ears once in a while but that is about it. I am no expert but I'd check her out better if she scratches. I had one California White who just didn't feather out well. She showed no other problems.

Watch the feathers to see if they are growing in even and well. Something may have happened to her at the other place that wont happen at your house. Maybe something grabbed her feathers and pulled them out and now they are growing back. Since you only have the 2 hens I'd just watch her.

To tame them give them treats and sit nearby.
