I have found this sight indispensable in creating a chicken run with great drainage and easy care that measures up to our heavy rainfall here on the coast. Now I am hoping to find the same type guidance for sheep, even though that really is not the focus here. You guys spoiled me (and my chicks)! I am taking in two Jacob lambs in a month and want to do all I can to have a great place for them. I have only a very small pasture and would like to get on a program of developing a really healthy pasture for them, and I need some advice on housing. I have tried to sort out the pasture seeding suggestions from the university, but can't find any local help on buying seed specifically for sheep. Suggestions appreciated. Also, because of our heavy winter rains, I would like to create a shelter, like a hoop house or something, but I need suggestions on flooring. Also, The only livestock hoop houses I can find have to be shipped and that is around $250 for a small 4' x 4' x 8' size. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
