We have a chick that has pipped at wrong end, I can see his beak and he is breathing, But I can still see some blood around the membrane,

What do we do? We have three chicks in there ready to come out, I am afraid to open up the incubator,
Please advise...I will try to post a pic

Do you mean the chick hatched at the pointy end? Did you candle the egg at day 8-10? The air sac should of been on the dull end. I dont know why the chick is pipping at the other end. Maybe it didn't turn in the egg. Leave it a while and see if it hatchs. It may still pip correctly. Have you been turning the egg 3-5 times a day? If not this could be why the chick is pipping on the wrong end

more on the side of the smaller end
yes turning three times a day up until lockdown
candled all eggs and saw movement. I am new at this and not sure what to exactly look for beside the embryo moving and all had good air sacs on day 18

The chick could be just pipping that end to get air. So im sure its probably nothing to worry about all you can do is wait it could take a while though. I had a chick hatch last week, it pipped at 9pm and didnt start hatching until 4am the next morning. Good luck with your hatch;)

thanks
do i leave the hatched chicks in?
they are actually bumping it a bit and when they sleep rest right on the pipped spot

Its perfectly normal for eggs to rock during pipping/hatching stage. Wait to see if the other eggs hatch first. After about 12 hours if the pipped egg doesn't make any progress you make have to help it a bit. Dip your finger in luke warm water around the membrane if you are helping it. I haven't done this before so I don't know much about helping, have a look on youtube you will see a few videos on people helping chick hatch it wil, give you a few ideas

thanks so much
will wait a bit, then take out the other chicks.
still see him chirping in there and his beak is moving. hoping he starts to absorb the remainder of blood etc.
