HELP on candling chicken eggs

Im new at incubation and i just have a quick question . I havent put any eggs in the incubator yet but i have candled sum of my eggs and they have black spot at the end "not the pointy part of the egg but the dull part" i was wondering what that is ? Is it fertile or infertile

I think that you are referring to the air cell - completely normal. It will increase in size as the embryo develops.
