This is the last egg and has been pretty much like this for the past 14 hours that I know of. It is hatching on the narrow end of the egg. I see movement and hear it every once in a while especially when the others walk around it. The incubator is filthy as it has been 24 hours plus since the others have hatched. I know there is lots of debate on this but just want to ask if I should help.

Hi! I actually just had my eggs hatch yesterday and I posted something very similar. He pipped at 2 pm. At 12 hours he had made very minimal progress and I made my post asking if I should help. His beak was showing but it seemed like he just couldn’t turn and all his efforts to turn or make progress were not working. The next morning it was the same. I had to go to work around 11am, and at 12 pm my husband texted to say he had hatched with no problem. I would wait a while longer and see if he can do it. I was glad I didn’t interfere with him. I know it’s hard being a first timer but just try to do something else for a bit and come back. I watched the bator like a hawk for hours and nothing would happen. As soon as I left to eat, take a shower or go to work, one would pip or hatch.

It is always hard to wait but I have never had one hatch on the narrow end. I have heard some say it is a death sentence if you don’t help.
