Help! Our duck is sick!

Please help! Our female magpie who is one years old has gotten sick today. She walks as if she is a drunk and can't keep her balance. She is bobbing her head and neck around as if she can't hold it up. And she is mostly sleeping. She has not eaten or had any water today. Her favorite things to eat and are bananas and basil and she does not want either one of those. We don't know what to do for her. And our mail is standing by her side quacking and nudging at her. What can we do to help her?

There is a sticky on the duck forum for treating botulism, and this sounds like botulism. Can you get her to drink?

You can do a flush, with olasses or epsom salt, and a charcoal slurry. Keeping her hydrated is vital.
