I have two sets of chicks: 3 Speckled Sussex {2 weeks}, and 3 Black & Partridge Cochin {5 weeks}
One of the SS chicks has curled outer toes on each foot, and I'm wondering if this is a problem and if I should do something to try to fix them {if possible}. I researched a little on the message board and online, but am having trouble finding clear cut information and pictures.
She is doing very well besides... eating, drinking, walking, playing, flying, and roosting on their branch ladder. All the chicks are socializing well and only had one day of pecking each other {the first day} since they came home. I feed them non-medicated chick starter from Agway.
I posted pics so you can see their flooring and her toes. I've read things about "shoes", but have no idea what they are for lack of better descriptions and pictures.
Thanks in advance for your help
