HELP!: Overdue Quail Chick

I just had 24 out of 40 eggs hatch within 24 hours. Yesterday morning two eggs were fully zipped and by evening they still hadn't hatched. The one I thought for sure was dead was alive when I assisted with hatching (and doing fine!) the other that I thought surely would be alive, was dead in the shell :(

I've still got 15 eggs not even pipped yet. This is my first quail hatch, but I'm a little disappointed. Everything went so perfectly during incubation that I was hoping for a better hatch rate? Today will be day 19, should I give the remainders a little longer?

I have another 14 due to hatch on thursday too. I may just leave all of them in the bator until those are done hatching too.

Don't get to flustered if they don't all hatch. I have over 300 quail and I've never had a 100% hatch. I was like you, "did I do something wrong?" You haven't. Some of my friends who raise quail across america never had a 100% hatch success either.

Yeah I'd leave them in the incubator and don't give up on still regulating the temperature and humidity. It was hard for me to do that as I was focusing on the 12 that hatched and didn't have much time to think about the 1 that didn't. Good luck!
