One of my chickens is very sick and I don't know what to do. At the first stage in the sickness she just was very lethargic with a pale face. Then she started to trip and fall and the other chickens would peck at her. Now she is just laying in the coop by herself I feel so sad. Please help right now I fear the worst for poor henny penny.

Get her out of the coop away from the other birds. I dont know what it is, but when a chicken gets like that, you dont want them around your flock or it might make them sick too.

Check her stool and see if she is pooping. Check her vent to see if its red or swollen. Is her stumbling like she is weak or that she is unable to coordinate her feet? There is a a whole list of things it could be. Start writing down symptoms as you see them so you can diagnose as accurately as possible.

Get her comfortable and see if you can get some fluids down her. Do a search about giving water to sick birds, it might help.

I treated mine with St. Johns Wart. I broke open a pill and disolved it in a little water then with a eyedropper I gave it to my chick twice a day for 10days(one eyedropper full each time) now she is like nothing ever happened. Hope that helps
