Help please! Chicken has Maggots

Please help! I don't know what to use!

My sweet little Orpington has maggots!! She is getting better but not eating what medicine should I use?

Yes she has an open wound and rotten flesh. We came out side and she had Fly Strike so we took her in side and started treating her wound. A couple days later we found another wound with maggots.
 
how was she wounded? Maggots don't cause a wound, they are only respond to it...it's entirely possible that they are actually helping her by eating away the rotting flesh, thus keeping it from spreading further...

in absence of any better advise, guidance or experience....I would suggest keeping her in a clean area, keep the area around the wound clean and let the maggots alone do their job

and when they are done they will make nice chicken treats.

Please read up on flystrike. It is a fatal condition where flies lay eggs in a wound or on soiled feathers/fur/wool that hatch into maggots who eat into the body of the animal, eventually causing an agonising death. It's a huge issue in sheep, but can affect any animal.

Maggots MUST be removed. They are not helping. I'm not up on the treatment for chickens, but the above comment has plenty of good links.
