will they be dead? i just found my duck book and it said lock down on day 26?? i know how to lock down im bringing the humidity up to 75% but what should the tempture be? it says in my book 37C?

They'll be fine! Don't worry! As long as the humidity is high enough when they start hatching they will be o.k. I found different opinions on when to lockdown, so I locked down on day 25 and had pips on day 26. All the eggs I set hatched and I only had to assist one that was malpositioned and couldn't zip. Keep the temperature where it is and bump the humidity up to 65%-70%. And stop turning the eggs, of course. And stop worrying!

my incubator is stopping egg turning tomorrow and i'll bump humidity up tonight .is that ok? or should i stop turning tonight?
aha i know my dad said that to me i think its a mix of nerves and excitement luckily i dont have any exams or revision sessions on friday so 100% full attention to eggs!

Stop turning tonight, if you can, and bump up the humidity. Hatching is nerve wrecking and exiting, I know. I've been doing it for years and I still fret when the time comes and get exited to "meet" the little ones.
