Help! Please!! Leghorn with broken leg

I have a leg horn with a broke nleg and dont know how to cure the leg or what to do. I dont really want to butcher her what do I do.

You could try to place two flat sticks on each side and wrap with vet wrap. You will have to prop her up somehow.

Hopefully, someone has done this before and can help you out.

Which bone is broken? Her femur?

This may seem like an odd question- but how do you know the leg is broken? Can you see the break? If she is limping or has a limp leg- there are many possible reasons for this besides a broken leg. More info please.....

Try a Robert Jone's bandage. I'll attach a link to show you how to do it- it's quite easy. Then, once she's bandaged, put her in a small carrier and don't let her move around for at least a week. It will take 2 weeks for her leg to heal well enough to let her move about, and keep her leg wrapped for at least that long, if not longer. If you don't have the large padded bandages that they use in this demonstration, you can use diapers. However, it's best to use the correct materials, as it will work better. You'll need to "set" the bone in the proper position before wrapping it, and have someone hold the bird while you do it to avoid causing undue stress or further damage to the leg.

The bandage isn't done on a chicken, but on a dog... but you'll get the idea.

Help! My white 17 week old roo is only hoping on one leg. He doesn't bare weight on it. He mostly lays down all the time. Leg and foot seems not broken. It feels like his leg is out of hip joint. It just dangles. He is our friendliest roo to our kids. Our neighbors dog keeps coming on our property tormenting our chickens. Can I fix it by setting it or the other alternative? We have him separate from the others so he can eat and drink on his own. Here's some pics.
