Hello everyone, I need your assistance pleaase! I have a one-month-old peachick that I found laying on the floor unable to move four days ago. It moves its legs slowly when I pick it up, indicating that it isn't paralyzed, but the legs have a dark blue color. I'm not sure what happened to it; one night I had to keep it in a cage with a chicken, and the next morning I discovered the peachick in that situation. It has a small injury on one leg and the legs seem so weak when I try to make the peachick stand, it falls over right away. What should I do? So sorry 😭 tysm

I'm no expert but it sounds like your chick was attacked or accidentally injured by the chicken.

I imagine a pea chick would attempt to get under your chicken for security and your chicken would freak out and attack it.

A deep blue under the skin could indicate internal bleeding in humans, not sure if it's the same for peafowl.

Perhaps someone with more experience can chime in and help you. @KsKingBee @Midnightman14
