Put your finger under one saddle feather.
Tell me what shape it is, is it rounder or more pointed? It might be that there is a rim of very thin feathering around the tip that make it round even if it looks pointed.

Just let me know what you find.

It's more of a straight line if anything but I believe it would be more so round than straight. If that makes any sense

Well in any case, just keep a look at it.
If the saddle feathers start to form into a straight line that ends in a tip you have yourself a rooster.
If not, she a girl.

I don't think roosters have saddle or hackle feathers at that age.

Bit early for me to call on the comb and I can't make out the mark on it's head.

I would guess approx 4 weeks.
