1) HennyPenny is 27 weeks old Plymouth barred rock.
2) Drinking a lot of water, not eating, fluffed up standing in the sun sleeping most of the time, lethargic. Missing most of her belly and vent area feathers.
3) She has been going down hill for 9 days.
4) Flock mates were exhibiting similar symptoms but have all bounced back.
5) She has depluming/itch mites
6) I adopted two new chickens one day before she starting getting sick. They came with a terrible case of depluming mites. The were kept separate but Henny Penny did stick her face in their run to investigate them.
7) She is drinking water fortified with vitamins. The last few days she has eaten a few dried BSF.
8) Poops were normal, last night they turned very watery.
9) They have all been treated for depluming mites with a pyrethrum dip, poultry dust on them and DE in their dust bath. New bedding and nest box. Coop sprayed down with Electro PSP.
10 ) Chicken vet is booked out 3.5 weeks. I am on the cancelation list.
11) I will see if I can photograph her today and post in comments or edit and add.
12) She is house in an Eglu Cube with a 6' run with one sister. Hemp bedding in poop tray, change out or, stir and treat with barn lime daily. treat with

She has depluming/itch mites
Photos of her poop?
Where are you located in the world?

When was her last egg? If she's not laid an egg, then I'd start her on Calcium Citrate+D3 for 5 days. Aim for 300-600mg Calcium Citrate daily.

Do you still have mites in the coop or do you still seem the on her?

She's drinking a lot of water. Check to see that her crop is emptying overnight, if it's not emptying, then address that symptom according to the article below.

Has she ever been dewormed?

Thank you, for your quick response.
We live in Colorado, on the front range (where the plains meet the mountains).
She just stopped laying, two days now. How do I give her the vitamin? Just put it in her mouth?
I checked her crop yesterday morning and it was empty. I will re-check her first thing in the morning.
I will also photograph her fresh poop in the morning.
Yes, she was wormed with Ivermectin about three weeks ago.

Very little pooping. Her poop is watery, only drinking water so it makes sense.
Her crop was empty this morning.
She is still drinking lots of water with Nutri-Drench added.

Poor girl!

Yes, just pop the tablet right into the beak.

Still drinking a lot of water? I wonder if she's got a partial blockage in the digestive tract.

Do you have any antibiotics on hand?

No antibiotics on hand.
She is no longer standing. I don't think she is going to last much longer.
Should I end her suffering?
