Help please strange behavior

Glad she is doing better, just think about getting her a friend as chickens are social and love to chat.
I have actually brought home several breeds during different times (night time I hear is best) different ages too (around her age) and have given them time (3-4 months) to accommodate but she has rejected having a companion. When I'd give them feed she'd rather the new girl eat it all (even when her favorite) while she'd stay hidden. She started showing signs of stress and shed feathers. That's when I figured she was best off solo and with us at home :)
