I have two new batches of Silkie eggs in the incubator already. It is addicting! Batch 1 was picked up in person, Batch 2 was shipped. (Same breeder)

We leave for a week long vacation tomorrow. I know it’s a bit early, but I candled ‘Batch 1’ on day 6.(last night) Batch 2 went into the same incubator a few days after batch 1, so it’s too early to candle them yet.

In Batch 1, 5 out of 16 eggs aren’t showing any sign of development, a couple might be considered too porous. We don’t get back until day 16 of incubation. Is there any reason I shouldn’t leave those 5 eggs in the incubator while we are gone?

If there's no smell, and on candling they just look clear they should be fine. I have about 5 in my incu right now that were clear on day 7. I'm leaving them in to next candle day 14. I've done it before too.
