Help please with jombo peckin mating season is over and he still wants to mate with me why is this happening

Mating season being over doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll stop mating all together. It may be reduced, and hens are less likely to nest, but.. drakes are very, very hormonal animals.

I see he’s your only duck? I don’t understand why you don’t want another duck. It’s actually easier to care for 2 ducks over 1 duck, because they will hang out with each other and take up less of your time. You could, and really should, get him a girlfriend.

It’s also best not to pet their necks or backs, as those are sexual spots for ducks and could make them more attracted to you.
