Thank you for the support. I think there is more going on internally with the last baby duck.. One minute he was fine and now he is acting as if he has had a stroke..

He's been doing better now.. Just seems to be a roller coaster. My hen has been outside all day long carrying on.. But, yet she was the one that killed her own? Very hard for me to understand.

She is a first time mother.. I know that they can have a hard time getting the hang of things.. I have had ducks before and never had issues. But, someone decided that they were going to just drop off a duck in my yard one day, and not long after she started nesting..

I had a first timer kill one of her ducklings I managed to save one Next year she was an awesome mama that duckling is almost 7 yrs old now. What breed is she?
