Help please!!!

My white layer duck has been trying to hatch, but and I believe was stuck. She is on day 30. She made one huge hole but couldn’t turn to zip. When I just checked her there was blood on her beak from pecking this pointy spot in the egg. I chipped it back slightly and found she was slightly shrink wrapped. The membrane seems to be clear. Can someone please help? I’m worried about her bloody beak and also how much I should assist?

It is the blood vessels in the membrane that we need to watch for. I continue to chip shell away until blood is seen then set the chick back in the incubator in hopes it will be absorbed. Then after patiently waiting help some more.

Thank you. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Along with keeping the membrane moist with a q tip. You can see her little face and her eye is open already. Do they normally come out with their eyes open?
