i have a broody silver phoenix hen and her eggs are due to hatch on sunday. my other hen has decided to claim the eggs that the other hen was sitting on as her own. theyre are both sitting on the eggs. should i be worried? what do i do?

As long as they are both sitting, it should be ok. Hopefully you will be there. One chickend could start taking care of the hatched chicks while the other sits on the remaining! How many eggs are there?

Hi!
When there's more than one hen trying to set on a nest, there's always the chance some eggs will get broken.
The safest thing would be to move hen #2 til the eggs are hatched (if possible).

what about moving one hen to another nesting box with one of the eggs? would that work?
