Help!! Went on a mad run to stop 6 week old poult from eating a long piece of plastic wrap, unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and he got it down :( now he is mixed in with the others (I have 11) and I'm worried about him not being able to pass it... Help! What can I do?!!

If you can recognize the `compactor' from the others, separate out and observe droppings for a week (if it was a very flexible - like saran wrap - it might just ball up and pass through). Pretty much all you can do at this point is observe for any changes in dietary intake/development of sour/impacted crop (bad breath/distention of crop). There are several threads on how to surgically deal with this in chooks.

Good luck!
