Help! Respiratory infection

My baby duck is a day and a half old and she has a respiratory infection and I was wondering if anyone else has had the infection with their new baby ducklings and if they seem to get back to normal health after or if there isn't that great of results. I am trying to do everything I can for the baby, she has been drinking electrolyte water and eating her mushed up watery food. Anything will help

Is the water deep enough for it to dunk its head and clean its nares and eyes out?....Ducklings need to do that many times a day....

I have a shallow water pit that is her drinking water that she can dunk her head in but she doesn't very often

Shallow?....The water should be deep enough to dunk it head to the bottom of bowl...A sour cream or margarine container with a hole cut into the top works great..As they grow I move up to ice cream pails...
