Any idea what breed this might be? They were bought a tractor supply and are @ 10 weeks... they have no tail feathers.. also any idea hen or roo? 2 n 3 are bird #1 and 4 n 5 are #2

Agreed on that, they look like Cornish Cross, but never seen one without a tail.they are both cockerels
That's possible, they could be a pure White Cornish/Barred mix, the barred parent possessing only one barring gene so that the offspring being almost completely white, though I doubt that Tractor Supply would sell such an odd mix. Were they just in a random, non-labeled bin?They look like Delaware cockerels to me, though it is strange that they haven't developed tails yet.

Red Rangers, huh. Those are meat production birds. How big are the ones you've got?My friend said they were marked speciality breed on the box. Her 3 yr old niece picked them out. Yeah this was her 1st and last experience with TSC for chicks. She realized she got screwed as the other 2 are Red Ranger cockrels..
