Help sexing 3week old Barred Rocks. I THINK I have one Hen one Roo.......what say you?????

It's too early to tell at 2 weeks old. Give them 2-3 more weeks and if they are boys, their combs will be thicker and turn pink. The one with the larger barring on the wing might or might not be a boy. Usually the boys are lighter in color.

Good luck! I swapped a cuckoo cockerel for a pullet at 4 weeks of age. There was a big difference in the comb. They have the same coloring as barred rocks.

This year I picked 2 out of 3 boys in the pullet bin. I'm keeping the light brahma boy due to their friendlier nature. Right now he/maybe she is not at the top of the pecking order. I'll bring him back to the store if he shows any aggression at all towards the hens or us.
