Help Sexing My New Brahma Chicks

I recently acquired 2 unsexed Brahma chicks im very new to all this and cant for the life of me figure out whether they are boys or girls does anybody have any advice?








Id be so grateful of any advice on this matter

How old? The brown has me suspicious but it depends on the age.

Hi thank you for your reply I'm sorry but I don't know exact ages I guess about 2 months ish judging by their size compared to my other brahmas.....

They aren't brahmas. More likely cochin x. They are single combs and non recognized colors.

Also, if they are possibly around two months then either both or the brown one are boys because of the redening combs and appearing wattles.

My other girl brahmas both have red combs and wattles...... Is there any other way I can tell?

Of course! Watch for continuing growth in the combs and wattles and pointy or rounded saddle feathers. That breed is a little hard to sex so there is still a fair possibility that they can be girls. I'm just going by what I see at the moment.

Also a Cochin x is that a cross breed term?

They look like Cochin mixes to me. None of them are obvious roosters yet, but I'm suspicious of both.

Cochin crossed with something else. They have the comb, shape and feathering of a cochin but not a standard coloring.
