I had a few qyuestions on showing birds at a farm show.
1. what vaccines do they need or other checkups, shots, other
2. what do i need to bring to the show?
3. What kind of cage waterer and feeder do i need
4. what age do they need to be
5. anything else i need to know

Any help will be helpful.

People usually don't vaccinate their show chickens because they want to know if they are resistant to a disease or not.

You need to wash you chicken if s/he is dirty with baby shampoo and conditioner. Bring baby wipes, Vet Rx or vegetable oil, a towel, a blow dryer, toenail clipper or dog nail clipper, nail file, and Kwik Stop.

You can use wax covered Dixie cups and clothesline pines for your cage cups. You don't want to bring home any disease on ones you are going to re-use.

You can start showing chickens when they are around 6 months+. Pullets and cockerels are in the 6 months division and hens and cocks are in the 1 years + division.
