Hi! First, I’d like to thank you for reading this and helping out. My bunny, I rescued from the local shelter, when I rescued him he looked young but full grown I’ve had him for 3 yrs. he has GI Stasis, we’ve taken him to the vet and as soon as he got home he ate a little bit it’s the next day and he has no interest in food whatsoever. Any feeding techniques, last time he has GI Stasis he at least ate his critical care.. :( please help! I love him very much!

You can mash banana, etc, up and feed it to him with a syringe. It's messy, but they usually get some down that way.

GI stasis can be a management issue, but there is often a genetic component as well. Has your vet discussed with you why this is happening?

It’s gas and he has had this in November but not as bad at all.

Have you asked about a charcoal based past or something like peptobismal (not sure if that's safe for rabbits so dont rey it without asking) to try and help him with his gas?

Why? Killing bacteria seems like an odd way to deal with gas.

Antibiotics are risky things to give to a rabbit, especially orally. They have also been shown to be ineffective for treating stasis. I am therefore assuming that whatever your vet gave you is not an antibiotic, but it is good to hear that it is apparently helping.
