My hen Quinny (she is about 2 years old ) has been sick for 2 days. (One other hen was acting lethargic) We thought she had sour crop at first and we vomited her over the toilet and she seemed to feel better, she had very bad diarrhea, this morning I made her eggs with some regular food and grit mixed in but she refused to eat and her crop was empty. She’s very lethargic I don’t know what to do.

Treat her for shock. What is her regular diet and is she laying? Does she have mites (check her vent area)? Or worms?

I don’t see anything in her vent area but it it completely caked with diarrhea she has not been laying for months now and her normal diet is food pellets and we free range most days. How do I treat her for shock?

Food pellets? What protein percentage? What type of pellets?
Make sugar water for her or mix some gatorade with water and give it to her. You may have to use a syringe or dropper to give her some if she won't drink.
