Help- sick or dying Tom

My new Tom is gaping (opening and closing mouth rhythmically and slowly) and putting. He has been eating and drinking fine until a few hours ago and was worm last week by the people I bought him from . His stool is yellow like and stinkier. The prior owner had him for several months and it was just him and chickens and his hen (she was killed by fox) . Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yellow stool can be a sign of blackhead. Can you take a stool sample to a vet for a fecal test?

He has blackhead, you can start him on heavy doses of penicillin to combat the secondary infections but if he has gone off of feed and water saving him may be a forgone conclusion.
