If the rabbit is still alive, I recommend soaking cotton pads in black tea and then wiping the eyes of the rabbit with them. I did it to one of my rabbits when it had a similar-sounding problem, and it seemingly worked.

im so sorry I haven't been keep you all updated. im terrible at keeping everyone updated! im sad to say that my bunny did died, it was on Tuesday so its been a while. but I'm about 90% sure it had mixomatosis so there wasn't much hope for it anyways I had been keepinh it inside and cleaning its eyes and nose everyday if they were pussy and I was also feeding and watering (its that the right word?) it with a syringe, thanks doubles for that idea, and I think that did help it say alive a bit longer. but thanks everyone for the help and info, I very much appreciate it

I'm sorry you lost your bun.

Believe me, it's no fun being right about a thing like that. You said somewhere that a friend of yours said that if a rabbit gets bitten by a mosquito, it dies; I suspect this was what they were thinking about.

If Myxo is this "hot" in your area, it might be better to only get a rabbit if you can keep it in the house. Either that, or in a structure with screens that are too fine for mosquitoes to get through, like a screened porch.
