I was checking up on one of my silkie chicks and I noticed that there is a red sac coming out of her vent. It wasn't there this morning. Really worried. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or need any more info.

How old? Might be a prolapse, if so, warm water soak should help, however, i’m not 100% confident that’s what this is! Age is important, it could be a not fully absorbed yolk sac.

I picked her up from IFA on Saturday so she is just a couple days old.
Does she have any feathers at all? (Mostly on the wing) Silkies are known for being very fluffy with feathers however newborns are especially fluffy. I’m asking this because unabsorbed yolk sac may be the issue. Maybe @Eggcessive could help here.

She is very fluffy and she has some new feathers coming in on her wings. Is that what you are asking?

She seems to be getting a little better. The sac is a lot smaller. I haven't done anything to help her yet, just separated her and have been making sure she is getting food and water.
