Hi, I have two six week old cream legbar pullets. One was acting lethargic for a day, and is now not eating or drinking, stares into space with a farway look, or slerps the whole day. I try to make her drink water with vitamins, or put injured bird food in her mouth, but she doesn't even swallow. Almost seems resistant to eating and drinking instead of just weak. I haven't seen her poop at all in a day. Last one I saw was a little runny, white with some brown. I am not sure what to do... the other chick is fine. Any ideas on what might be going on and what could help? Thank you!
PS. She had diarrhea a few weeks agobut seemed to be better.

Have you mixed birds recently? Like introduced these pullets to an existing flock? At that age the first thing that comes to mind is coccidiosis.
They have outside time a couple of times a day, and may see the existing flock around at that time...
Is staring and head falling down also a sign of cocci?

I can go to my local tractor supply and see if they have it :( I hope my chick survives. She opens her eyes and looks around and shuffles, but can't seem to eat or drink :(

Thank you so much for responding.
