Help! Something is wrong with my turkey's leg!

I have a pair of 1 month old BBBs and this morning one of them was having trouble standing. At first I thought his toes were curling, but when I looked closer it looked like his leg was splayed out to the side. I tried straightening it and it didn't seem to hurt him, but the leg won't stay straight, and he can't stand up. I have him inside with his own food and water where he can reach it more easily right now, and he seems okay other than the leg.

What caused this. And how can I fix it? Please help!

Sounds like an injury of some kind and we may never know what happened. You will have to splint the leg.

After reading through the link, I'm pretty sure it has slipped the achilles tendon. Hubby and I tried to fix it last night and put a straw cast on the leg, but it is still sticking out sideways. Do I just keep trying to pop the tendon back in, or try hobbling as well? Or something else I haven't thought/heard of yet?
