Help! Spazzy silkie chicks!

My blue silkie chick, Alfred, will climb up your leg to be held and once he is in your lap, he will fall asleep. When I pet him, his jerks his head back and forth in a very spazzy way. Is there something wrong with him? Is it his new feathers feel wierd when I pet them? Please help.

I have noticed that my cresteds (Polish and Silkies) don't like their heads pet, but love it you pet the rest of them. I'm sure it feels weird to them, probably like brushing your hair the wrong way. It try not to mess with their heads and pet the rest of them.

Instead of me petting the rest of him, he decided he likes his belly to be scratched waaaaayyyy better! Silly lap chicken...
