I came home tonight to find my rescue duck had a baby with her. I attempted to move her, but she is so skittish that she took off into the yard. I have the baby in a brooder box with my chickenss. I was wondering if I could wait until dark and try to move the mom onto a segregated nest and give her baby back. Do you think this is possible or is it too late since I took the baby already?
