HELP!! SWOLLEN DUCK LEG

Hey guys, I discovered a few days ago that my duck had limp and a bit of swelling in her leg joint, it has traveled to her toes and has gotten worse. Its hot to the touch and she has a black toenail. She do have a small scab which I know is bumblefoot but I'm wondering what exactly it could be and how to treat her at home, as I'm 400km from a vet??

Is there any chance you could take a few pictures of the area, and post it here?

By your description, it sounds as if she may have severely injured the area, or has developed an infection of the leg - increasing the odds of the latter, is that you're seeing a black scab, which often acts as a great gateway for bacterial invasion into the tissue.

Is her limp severe enough she is unable to apply pressure to her foot or is she still able to apply some pressure? If you hold her leg, and gently bend the intertarsal joint, and ankle joint, do you hear any clicking or abnormal sounds?
