Dear community,
Which plate is best!? Should I even do a plate?! I don't know what to do.
P.S. I'm hatching coturnix quail

I literally pulled the same thing as you. But I decided to go with the Producers Pride brooder/heater. So far chicks love it. Everyone is happy and they actually seem to feather in faster, over using a heat lamp. I wanted away from the heat lamps. To much of a fire hazard.

Do you have quail?
But then things like this happen where people say opposite things and I literally have 0 clue.
(Hahaha welcome to the indecisive club. We can co-lead hahaha.)

Have you had previous experiences with a plate? If so, pls share! Or did you just avoid the plate to begin with?
I read enough before hand to know to avoid a plate.
