We started a hatch on the 1st of June and began candling on day 8 and we noticed that one of the eggs had a partial blood ring. Being new to hatching we decided to leave it in because it seemed to be developing. Day 17 looked a little more developed but the blood ring had not changed. Currently day 18 and we decided to candle one more time before the incubator locked down. To our surprise the blood ring has disappeared with only a faint trace of it remaining! Is it dead or alive? Doesn't smell bad but it isn't moving from what we can tell. HELP!!
