Help ! Very important question!

Hi, I have a broody hen that has 5 chicks so far and more in counting. I have 2 day old chick from incubation . Can I put the incubation chick into the hens care with the other ones?? Has anybody done this before if so how !!!!

Sorry it’s 1 chick that is two days old. She’s a total different color (black) and the other ones are yellow.

It depends on the hen. Some hens will accept anything, others are quite picky. How many more eggs does she have to hatch?

Probably your best bet is to sneak it under her at night while she's sleeping. Sooner rather than later
