Can someone please help me with what I have here? The chicks came from Tsc this spring as assorted bantams, I looked at the hatchery website at the time to ID the breeds and it looked to be a wholeseller so no help there.
I understand that millie fleur is a pattern type, not a breed. Some my birds have beards and muffs, while others do not. All have vulture hocks.
Can you help me ID these please?
I am also confused by hatcheries such as Murry McMurry that have "both the bearded and non bearded varieties" of Belgian Bearded D'Uccle - can someone clarify this for me?
Thank you!

The ones with beards and muffs are Belgian Bearded D'Uccles and the ones without are Booted Bantams. And of course, the silver one is a Sebright.
Pullet D should get more black and white after she molts. Maybe after a while, but that's unlikely.

So am I correct to understand these are two totally separate breeds?
Is the Belgian Bearded D'Uccle a *type* of Booted Bantam?

They are different breeds. Very, very similar. Only difference is the beard/muffs. D'Uccles arent a type of Booted Bantam, they are diffent breeds, but I do think one came from the other.
