Help! What’s going on with my chick?

One of my 2 day old chicks seems lethargic today and has white paste coming from the vent. She is also struggling to poop and is making faint clicking noises as she breaths. The brooder is cleaned every day and the water is changed multiple times a day. I have cleaned her but but she is making shrill cheeping noises and her sibling isn’t. What could this be and what can I do?

She is passing away. She is completely lame but still breathing

She passed away unfortunately. She went down hill so fast. Does anyone know what it could have been? Her sister is doing absolutely fine and has no sign of ill health at all

She has pasty butt. Just clean the vent and keep an eye on it. She should be fine. A little olive oil worked for me. Just a little on your finger. Good luck

She passed away i noticed the paste very quickly so there was definitely something other than that wrong with her. I’m unsure what though

I don’t think it was pasty butt. I was checking on them every hour and there was nothing hard, it was soft

From what I’ve read, pasty butt is a form of constipation. I had one do the same loud chirp when trying to go. I gave a little olive oil and it cleared up. You, like me, probably caught it early so no hard build up. They don’t all survive.
