Help - what breed and pullet or cockerel chick?

The other chicks I already know are barred rock pullets. Any idea about this little one's breed and sex? Or too young to tell?

Seems about right. For accurate sexing post back when they’re 8 weeks old. I’m not seeing any obvious cockerel signs but a lot can happen in a few weeks.

Its a dark brahma, and based upon the color, its a pullet. Dark brahmas are sexually dimorphic, so the males look different than the females.

Yep, that's a dark brahma... and a pullet. Google them, you'll see how different they look. A male at this stage would be popping out black feathers and white feathers, not those lovely camouflaged partridge like patterns.

eta, I love the feathering on her legs. I've gotten hatchery brahmas that barely had any feathering, but my dark brahma has glorious feathering. LOL.
