Help. What breed?

Just got a pullet and I'm not sure what breed it is.I was told it's a silkie but doesn't look like a silkie to me.

It's definitely not a silkie. I think it's probably a white cochin. Do you know how old? The comb and wattles look pretty well developed compared to how much feathering it has.

You're welcome. Given the size and redness of its comb and wattles at that age, your Australorp is definitely a cockerel.

Yep, it's a Buff Silkie, although a hatchery quality one with that pink comb. And given the size of that comb at that age, I'm thinking its likely a cockerel.
